The Wenner sisters of Brunswick, daughters of Charles Malcolm and Edna Garrott Wenner, at Miss Patty Wenner's home on E. B Street in the mid-1970s. Miss Wenner was the first woman principal in Frederick County. Her sisters all taught school prior to marriage.

From the Peter Wenner photos: The daughters of Charles Malcolm Wenner at the home of E. Virginia Wenner next to what is now Williams Funeral home on East B street. Family referred to it as "The Junction". (l to r) Margaret Wenner Oliver, E. Virginia "Patty" Wenner, Ann Wenner Van Bebber, Edith Wenner Van Pelt. Aunt Patty was the 1st female principal in Frederick County at Middletown Elementary. She was called out of retirement to be principal of th consolidated Brunswick Elementary School.
