Ms. Martha Jane Crummitt, 76, of Brunswick, passed away on October 8, 2018.

Born in Frederick, Martha was the daughter of the late Eston and Mildred Hoffman. She worked at several local companies including H.L. Hartz Clothing Co., Stulls Tool & Dye Co. and Image Direct, Inc. She enjoyed reading and the Hallmark channel, and was known for her Delft collection. She was a very thoughtful person who would go out of her way for others.

She is survived by five children, Terry Burall & husband Martin, Mary Clark, Daniel Crummitt & wife Chris, Becky Hamrick, and Loretta Carder; siblings, Judy Baker & husband Delmar, Nancy Ray Rice, Eddie Hoffman & wife Rosemary, Doris Henry & husband Joe, Pamela Burke & husband Rick, and Darryl Hoffman & wife June; She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Tonya Grimes, Kirstie Hamrick, Kelsie Hamrick, Katlyn Crummitt, Dylan, Dalas and Dakota Carder, Brandon Blankenship, Trent Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Aevin and Gray Blankenship and nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives. She will be remembered by a very special friend, Larry Rippeon. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Crummitt.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 28th at Mount Carmel Methodist Church, 9411 Baltimore Road, Frederick, MD 21704.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Splendor Christian Ministries, Inc., 813 5th Avenue, Brunswick MD 21716, or a favorite charity of one's choice.
