The convergence of telephone service in Brunswick from operator to direct-dial happened during his final term in May, 1938. Mayor Mace served from 1932 to 1938. A 1977 Brunswick Distinguished Citizen, Harry Mace came to Brunswick in 1908 to work in his cousin's furniture store on W.
