Brunswick Organization: Smoketown Rotary Club

The ROTARY CLUB OF SMOKETOWN, BRUNSWICK, MARYLAND is welcomed into the fellowship of service of 35,633 Rotary Clubs in over 200 countries and geographical regions around the globe. The 27 Charter Members of the Rotary Club of Smoketown now join 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers, who come together to make lasting positive change in communities at home and abroad.

The Rotary Club of Smoketown, Brunswick, Maryland is one of five Rotary Clubs in Frederick County, comprising 22% of the membership of the 61 Rotary Clubs in Rotary’s Central Maryland and DC District.

The Rotary Club of Smoketown conducted its Charter Dinner at the American Legion in Brunswick on Thursday, May 10, 2018, restoring a Rotary presence in Brunswick after a twenty-five year hiatus. The original Brunswick Rotary Club had served from 1927 to 1993, when it dissolved.
