Summary

Freddie Duncan's Metropolitan Tavern on the corner of East Potomac Street and 1st Avenue in what appears to have been the early 1950s. Paul "Touch" Foster has been identified as the taxi driver for the Met's delivery service.

According to Terri Lewis: "I remember my mother-in-law talking about calling the Met, ordering crab cakes, then having a taxi deliver them to their home!!! Said they were the best crab cakes!!!"

The Potomac Street Grill operates at this location today. They also serve good crab cakes.
