Summary

At this time, this stretch of North Maple Avenue was referred to as Peach Orchard Lane on the old Wenner farm. It ran along the crest of the hill where the shopping center, bank and other businesses are today as it intersects with Souder Road. It was unpaved until the late 1960s and the area was devoid of street lights.

Gene Conner is the boy with the goat. The King girls are behind the wagon.
