Summary
A Summer parade on Petersville Road in the 1950s. Bill Care's old Amoco station is visible behind the float in the location where Jerry's Liquors is today.
Since the message on the side of the float reads "Bridging Neighbors", this was likely the parade celebrating the Potomac River Bridge dedication in July 30, 1955.
James Sullivan was driving the Jeep, according to his son, Galen.
