Summary

Thomas W. Troxell (1874-1947) became Brunswick High School's first principal in September, 1901 when it was in the old Westall Building that still stands on E. Potomac Street across from City Park. An 1898 Dickenson graduate, Mr. Troxell served at BHS until 1907. In 1911, he became principal at Gaithersburg High where he remained until his retirement in 1935.
