Summary

Wilbur Devilbiss was the 7th principal of Brunswick High School from 1932-39. He and his family lived in town and were active in the community and Frederick County. BHS students remembered him as “stern, but good.”

Dr. Devilbiss earned his A.B. from Western Maryland, his doctorate from University of Washington. He was MD State Supervisor of High Schools from 1942-49.
