The soap box derbies that ran down from the top of 10th Avenue below "Dead Man's Curve" down East Potomac Street were a huge hit with local kids back then.  According to the library, here are Brunswick racers George Hall, Witter Lovelace and Dan Lutman standing with their soap box derby cars.
