Adrianne Poe: I’ll be 37 this year and I say that to my students all the time about being old 🤣 I guess I’m more like him than I’d ever known. I’m his granddaughter. He could go on and on about educational politics, religion, and so many things. Yes, he was very long winded but I sure do miss his talks these days. So nice to see him fondly remembered.
Diane Dagenhart Christensen: I was lucky. BHS had several great English teachers: Mrs. Pritzer, Mrs. Mauzy and Mr. Poe. Mr. Poe always looked like an actor in a 60s movie; dark suit, skinny tie, the hair.
