Summary

The Trego Train Station - This dilapidated beauty on Trego Rd in Washington County was considered an eyesore and hazard as it was ready to crumble on the road through the village in Washington Co. It was demolished in August, 2010.

At one time it was a way station in the area as a train depot and country store.

"Farmers would load kids up and take them to the station for some soda and a man across the street used to hop on the train to go to school," said Susan Walton, who lived in the area.
