Brunswick Elementary School Principal Lee L. Smith is the man in the necktie behind the tractor driver on a Veterans' Day Parade float on West Potomac Street, circa 1960. The message on the side of the float reads "World Peace".
Note the J.P. Karn Lumber sign on the truck behind the BES safety patrol marchers.
