Dan Sobieck This picture was actually taken in the mid 1940's or later. How do I know this? I am a member of the B&O Historical Society. The Steam Locomotive, a Mikado (McArthur), sports a Capitol Dome cast plate on the Smoke box. These did not start appearing on Steam locomotives until the mid-1940's.
