Summary

William (Bill) Irving Diffenderfer, Jr., 59, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, November 6 at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy, Maryland.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Irving Diffenderfer, Sr., and is survived by his mother, Blanche Lee Diffenderfer, of Frederick. In addition, he is survived by the love of his life, Pat Reynolds, of Brunswick.

He is survived by his two loving daughters, Chelsea and Danielle Diffenderfer, of College Park, and five siblings: Lynn Cummings, Nancy Faith, Leta Sanger, Stephen Diffenderfer, and Ericka Diffenderfer. In addition to his daughters and siblings, Bill is survived by many nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored.

He was a graduate of Northwood High School, in Silver Spring, MD, and he served in the United States Navy for 4 years after graduation.

Mr. Diffenderfer spent much of his life working in commercial building maintenance, and, most recently was employed by Frederick County Public Schools.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, November 28, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 703 W. Patrick Street, Frederick.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Kline Hospice House, in Mount Airy, MD, where Bill spent his final days surrounded by his loved ones.
