Summary

Yost's Truck Stop & Diner was on Rt. 180 above Knoxville when it was the main highway between Frederick and Charlestown before Rt. 340 was built in the early 1960's. The business closed shortly after the new highway opened. The building sat vacant and vandalized for years until it was razed around 1970.

The brand of gas Yost's sold appears to have been Sunoco.

This post card picture was found on an old Potomac Edison bill.
