Top: Home of William Stewart on 9th Avenue, about 1900. Note the fancy woodwork. Shown are LeRoy Stewart, his mother, and Bess the horse, used for both gardening and riding. Lower: High or Upper Street (now Potomac). Looking east one can see the Savings Bank. Farther east corner, across the street, is the Post Office.
