Don Cooper is a Brunswick artist. He died in 2014. His father was Glenn Cooper,a Brunswick Distinguished Citizen 1986. Don's sister is Mary Ann (Cooper) Daugherty who still lives in Rosemont (2020). Don was a wildlife photographer for National Geographic and covered the Appalachian region. Sundance had a show for him in 2007 called "Birds of Antietam." The Frederick News Post an article about the show. They put a picture of his bluebird on the front page! The show drew lots of visitors. Don was an incredible photographer. I still have some of his photos. He also taught photography for Hagerstown Community College.
