The brick structure occupied approximately one-fourth the area of the present church. Bricks from the mother church, St. Mark's, were used in the construction. It was B&O engine 5306. According to forum.trains.com, the 5306 left Washington for Baltimore's Camden Station at 6:30pm on November 2, 1953.
