Summary
This is a nice formal photo of Gertrude Boteler & Leila Buckles in the early 1900s. Both were friends of Margaret Eagle Dixon.
Boteler was a prominent early Brunswick name. A Boteler-Gross merchandising firm in Berlin pre-dated the railroad town of Brunswick, going back to the 1870s. William Lynch Gross's son Bill, better known as Judge Gross, was named William Boteler Gross.
Valerie Moyer Virginia Boteler was my great great-great-grandmother. She was married to J.Jesse Moore. Both are buried on an old plantation in Knoxville.
