Summary

Taken on December 15, 1932, this photo looks south into Virginia. After a dusting of snow, it depicts the bridge's upgraded wood and wire parapet rail of the old iron Potomac River Bridge from Brunswick, MD to Lovettsville, VA. The truss system was manufactured by the Youngstown Bridge Company of Youngstown, Ohio in 1893.
