Summary

This safe deposit bag was used by W.B. Wenner and family members to deposit daily earnings from The City Meat Market on W. Potomac Street into the bank. According to Judge Bill Wenner, only family members were allowed to staff the cash register and drop off the daily proceeds. The store stood where the Ambulance Company resides today.

The People's National Bank building still stands proudly across from Beans in the Belfry. In recent years, it was the home office of a printing company?
