Summary

The Eastbound shop track at New Addition looking west in a photo taken around 1924. It was featured in an article in the November 11, 1982 edition of the Brunswick Citizen called "Brunswick and the Age of Steam" by James F. MacMurray. The caption read as follows:

"Note the "hard hats" that were in style then! The men are working on a coupler that has been removed. The solid wood fence on the right? Maybe it was to keep the passengers in passing trains from seeing what was going on! Or maybe it was for safety.

The power house is on the left. On the track on the left, loaded cars are being worked on - perhaps because of brake or coupler trouble."
