LAND RECORD HS 18 Grantee Friday 15, 1847 At the request of Sam G. Hymes, the following deed is recorded November 19, 1847. __. This Indenture made this fourth day of October in the year of our Savior one thousand eight hundred and forty two. Between Emerentienne V. Corbally of Frederick Town, in the State of Maryland, at present residing in Harne De Grace in the Kingdom of France, widow of the one part, and Samual Hymri{ of the Town of Berlin, in the County of Frederick, and State of Maryland aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Emerentienne V. Corbally for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred and fifty dollars, current money of the State of Maryland to her in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained and sold, _____, released, and confirmed, and by these presents doth hereby grant, bargain, sell, alien, release, and confirm, unto the said Samuel Hymes, and his heirs, and assigns, all the land owned by the said Emerentienne V. Corbally situate, lying and being in Frederick County in the State of Maryland, South of the line established between the said Emerentienne V. Corbally, and the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company by a jury of Inquisition hold on held on the 1st day of May 1832, the proceedings of which are recorded among the land records of said county, and state, in Liben? JS No. 113 folio 23, 24 and 25 together with all and singular the _____ _____ and appurtenances thereunto belonging opin any wise appertaining to have and to hold the said· herein described premisses with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Samuel Hymes his heirs and assigns to the only proper use of the said Samuel Hymes his heirs and assigns , forever. In Testimony whereof the said Emerentienne V. Corbally has hereunto set her hand and affixes her seal on the day and year first above written.
