I would recommend the appointment of Andrew A. Harrison a young man of small family and industrious, his father having died in the employ of the company at this lock, and is familiar with lock keeping.

Therefore I believe he would give satisfaction and

do his duty and do ask that said Andrew A. Harrison be appointed to said lock as lock keeper. Very Respectfully Geo. W. Spates Supv.
