At a county courthouse for Loudoun county. Dec. 13, 1886

In the matter of the petition of Wm. W. Wenner and Jas. M. Keilgram to establish a ferry over the Potomac River. The application in this case was apposed by G. S. Wenner and Eli Sanborn and the court having heard the arguments from both petitioners, G. S. Wenner and Eli Sanborn upon consideration of said argument and the proof presented being of opinion that this place at which it is proposed to establish said ferry is within the jurisdiction of this court and that it is more than a half mile in a direct line from any ferry legally established by any Virginia Authority refers said application to the following views. viz: L. T. Jones, Sam L. Moore, Robt. R. Walker, N. B. Peacock and Wm. T. McKinny any three or more of whom shall act the said viewing shall view the place where the said petition ask to have a ferry established over the Potomac River to start on the Virginia edge of said river in Loudoun County at or near the old ferry landing of the Loudoun and Frederick Bridge Co. on the lands of the said Bridge Co. or those of W. W. Wenner and wife. Thence across said river to the landing formally Waltmans at or near Berlin Maryland and opposite or as near opposite as may be to the starting point in Virginia.

The said views shall, upon there oaths report to the

court their opinions, Whether or no public convenience will result from the proposed ferry with their reasons for such opinion. A copy
