Jan 13, 1887 County of Loudoun Virginia

Know all men by these presents therein, William W. Wenner and J. L. McIntosh, are held uniformly bound into this Commonwealth of Virginia in the sum of one thousand dollars,

for the payment

whereof we bind ourselves and their heirs and family and severally by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 13 day of January 1887 and we hereby waive our homestead exemption as to this obligation. The condition of the above obligation is that whereas at this January being 1887 of this Court of Loudon County in a certain application to establishing a ferry on the Potomac River at the Loudoun and Berlin bridge owned by the said William W. Wenner and Jms. M. Keilgram and contested by Eli Sanborn and G. L. Wenner their joining in this said court judgement was rendered that the said application be dismissed and that the said contestants marred against the said applicants their costs by them about their contest in their behalf expended and the said William Wenner and Jms. Keilgram have prayed and assign from the judgement aforesaid which was granted them to the circuit court of said county is a marring of rights now therefore of the said William
