Maryland for P. Geo County

Nov. 14, 1730

By virtue of a warr. granted out of his Lordships land office the 21st day of October last unto Benjamin Tasker, Esq. for five thousand acres of land. I have surveyed for the aforesaid Benjamin Tasker all that tract or parcel of land called Merryland lying Prince Georges County and

Beginning at a bounded ash standing on the Bank of Potowmack River a little below those falls called Abrahams falls being the south west corner ______ of a small tract of land called Pains Delight and running thence north fifty six degrees west sixty perches north seven degrees east thirty four perches north forty seven degrees east three hundred and ninety perches north twenty five degrees west one hundred and sixty perches north twenty two degrees east eighty perches south eighty degrees east one hundred and twelve perches north twenty seven degrees. East one hundred and ninety perches north one hundred perches north east one hundresd and forty perches south eighty one degrees east seven hundred and eight perches south twenty two degrees west three hundr3ed and eighty two perches south thirty degrees east three hundred and twenty perches south fifty two degrees west five hundred and ten perches north sixty six degrees wesst six hundred and seventy four perches then with a straight line to the first tree containing and now laid our for two thousand acres of land more or less to be held of Calverton Manno.

On the back of the aforesaid cort was written as follows
Know all men by these presents that I the subscribed do here by for and in consideration of the sum of two shillings and further considerations assign
