Resurvey for
John Hawkins Jr.
August 1753

Frederick, Know ye that whereas John Hawkins Jr. of Prince George County by his humble petition to our agents for management 3100 acres of land affairs within this province did set forth that he was saized in----- of and in Hawkins's the four following tracts or parcels of land lying and being in Frederick County Merry Peep and contiguous to each other Viz: Coxens Rest originally on the nineteenth day of November anno Domo Seventeen hundred and thirty, granted unto ------- John Wilcoxen for three hundred acres under new rent, Chance originally on the fourteenth day of November ammo Domo Seventeen hundred and twenty nine granted unto a certain John Dickerson for one hundred acres, Refuse originally on the twenty forth day of September Anno Domo Seventeen hundred and forty three granted unto the petitioner for one hundred and thirty seven acres and, Haw Meadow originally on the first day of September Anno Domo Seventeen hundred and forty seven, granted unto unto the petitioner for fifty acres all under new rent,Contiguous to which the petitioner has partly discovered some vacant land and being desirous to add the same terms possibly prayed at Special Watrant to resurvey the aforementioned tract for that intent and purpose and that on return of certificate of such resurvey the he making good rights to the Claims added and complying with all other requisites a seal on such parcels might have ---------- of confirmation 'G:f same unto him thereon which was granted him and
