At the request of Emanuel Waltman the following deed is recorded 17th Feb 1818. To wit:

This indenture made this 12 day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen between Jacob Waltman of the County of Loudon and State of Virginia of the one part and Emanuel Waltman of the County and State aforesaid of the other part.Witness that the said Jacob Waltman for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid by the aforesaid Emanuel Waltman the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained and sold alliened ----- and confirmed and by these presents doth agree grant and bargain and sell allien ---­ ___ and confirm unto him the said Emanuel Waltman his heirs and assigns all them lots and portions of ground lying and being in the Town of Berlin in the County of Frederick and State of Maryland and distinguished by the plot of said town by numbers one and two, Containing each one quarter of an acre of land more or less together with all and singular the advantages and appurtenances to the aforementioned lots or portions of land belonging or in any manner or way appertaining and all the estate rights title claim and demand of him the said Jacob Waltman of and unto the aforesaid lots
