Joseph Smith or assigns yearly and every year the sum of six pence sterling money as a ground rent for the cause to commence from the first day of April last past and the said Jacob Waltman for himself and his heirs doth lease covenant agree to and with the aforesaid Emanuel Waltman that he the said Jacob Waltman and his heirs the aforesaid

appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof unto him the said Emanuel Waltman his heirs and assigns against him the said Jacob Waltman his heirs assigns all and every person or persons claiming the same by from or under him shall forever unnamed and defend the said Jacob Waltman and doth hereunto set his hand and seal affixed his seal this day, date aforementioned.
