Summary
A photo of the Point of Rocks tunnel in the 1990s. The Point of Rocks Tunnel is located along the original route of the Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Railroad and was first constructed between 1866 and 1868 through the Catoctin Mountain. The tunnel was enlarged between 1902 and 1903 in order to accommodate an additional track.
