The previous incarnations were located across from the YMCA, on the left side of the building that was the Potomac Shop & Hotel. It's hard to tell if the parade celebrated the dedication of the Potomac River Bridge in August 1955, or the Diamond Jubilee in September, 1965. Before the move to Philadelphia, the Van Pelt family lived at 10 5th Avenue in Brunswick. The photo is believed to have been taken in the lower car yard sometime in the 1950s.
